Lake Baskunchak

Lake Baskunchak is cozy located on one of the peaks of the salt mountain. During the rains, thousands of small streams rush to it to fill the pond with tons of salt crystals. In autumn, when the lake becomes smaller and the waters in it become less, the eye can see amazingly fabulous landscapes from fantastic films that stretch for many kilometers. They say that swimming in the lake, you can get rid of some diseases. Is that true, who knows?

Lake Baskunchak is located in a protected area. The way to the lake lies through Upper Baskunchak station. You can get to it in different ways. And from there to the lake at hand - only about 10 kilometers. There's a bus and a minibus. There is another option to get to the lake – walk and walk, simultaneously photographing the beauty of the unique lake.
