Museum of the History of Fisheries of Orangerie

Branch of GBUK JSC "Astrakhan Museum-Reserve" in the village of Orangerie, established in 1988. And on January 16, 1991, according to the decision of the Astrakhan Regional Executive Committee No. 31, the public museum of the working village Orangereynoye became part of the Astrakhan Museum - reserve. The history of this unique museum, based on the largest fishing enterprise of the Volga-Caspian basin - the Greenhouse Fish Factory, known for its rich history, starting with the fishing of Sapozhnikov merchants, labor achievements, glorious labor dynasties, begins three years earlier, since 1988.

Huge work was invested in the search and selection of exhibits, the creation of models of ships, models of toni, fish factory, the creation of expositions and exhibitions, technical and artistic design of the halls.

Currently, the museum is located in two halls of the building of the house of culture of the village of Orangerie.
