Astrakhan airport in the past had another name - Narimanovo. The history of the airport dates back to 1936.
To date, the airport has been awarded Class B, it has two runways, an air terminal and a hotel.
The capacity of the airport terminals allows handling up to 400 passengers per hour.
In 2008-2010, reconstruction works were carried out, thanks to which the airport began to comply with all European standards and was able to receive Boeing-737 class aircraft.
