Maltsev Estate

ooh Communist, 75, Balakovo, Saratov region, Russia

Description:

The Maltsev estate is a museum representing a palace in the city of Balakovo at the intersection of Novouzenskaya and Nikolaevskaya streets. This 19th century architectural monument belonged to the richest merchants-bread traders. In 1886, this building was bought by Paisy Mikhailovich Maltsev, a respected merchant and the most influential person in Balakovo at that time. The locals believed that the Maltsevs had so much land that it could accommodate all of France.

The Maltsev estate is one of the rare luxurious provincial estates in Russia. It includes a beautiful main house, a cozy lilac garden, a house with a household block for servants. Also on the territory of the estate there is a carriage, stable, laundry, original brickwork of the fence, and also cast gates.

The Maltsev estate was recently in a ruined state, but in a few years it was restored. Today, excursions and entertainment events are successfully held here. The main visitors of the Maltsev estate are newlyweds who want beautiful photos and ceremonies in the ballrooms of the palace. In the estate you can arrange a family celebration and just a chic photo shoot.
