Barabinsk Museum of Local History

The museum was established in 1984 on the basis of the museum on a voluntary basis. The founder is a teacher of zoology and geography, a participant of the war Zherikov I.P. From 1987 to 2001, the museum worked under the leadership of Pokrasenko V.I.
Currently, the museum has 12,500 exhibits of the main fund. The greatest interest among visitors is caused by items from collections of numismatics, bonistics, wood, metal, applied creativity, as well as documents. These objects reveal the history of the region, introduce the life of peasants and townspeople, etc.
