Monument to IDPs in Altai

Russia, Altai Territory, Baranul, October Square

Description:

The monument is an interesting composition, which consists of a sower and a child. Complementing the sculpture is a solar circle in the background with attached clouds. Sculptures of immigrants are located on a high site.

The idea belongs to the Governor of the Altai Territory. A monument was erected in 2012 to celebrate the 75th anniversary. The sculpture is located in the city of Barnaul, in the place where Lenin and Kalinin Avenues connect.

The main message of the monument is to show the fertility of the Altai Territory, because it occupies the first place in the production of various agricultural products. The sculpture pays tribute to the people who sowed the first agricultural crops.

Previously, there was another monument at this place. It is worth noting that the sculpture fits perfectly into the composition of the square. The author of the work Oleg Zakomorny.
