MBUK "Mamontovsky District Museum of Local Lore"

The museum was founded in 1967. The decision to open a municipal museum was made in 1978. The main sections of the exposition are: “Business card of the district”, “Nature of the Mamontovsky district”, “Ancient past of the district”, “From the XVIII century to the XX century”, “Military roads – human destinies (1917-1945)”, “Development of the district from 1946 to the present”.

There is an exhibition hall where thematic, art exhibitions are held on the basis of local material and with the involvement of funds from other museums. At the museum there is a literary creative association "Inspiration", an association of amateur flower growers "Lubava".
