To Beluha

Belukha (the height of the eastern peak is 4506 m) – “Sacred Mountain”, the sacred center of the World. The highest two-headed peak of Siberia. At the northern foot of Belukha there are several places associated with the name of Nicholas Roerich. These places have tremendous positive energy. Travelers, having been there, return home completely different people: spiritualized, rejuvenated, discovered the true meaning of life. The dense taiga, replaced by alpine meadows, a panorama of snowy peaks, overnight stays in tents, mirrors of mountain lakes, multimeter cascades of waterfalls, milky white water of the Akkem River, cedar clearing, rocks with petroglyphs, food cooked on the fire - this is only a small part of the pleasure and joy that overwhelm the traveler during communication with nature, especially in the mountains.

Route programme:

Day 1: Meeting in Barnaul at 7:00. Transfer to the base camp in the village of Tungur 750 km, 10 hours. Accommodation in tents, independent cooking on the fire.

Day 2: Transition 19 km, 6-8 h. from Tungur-Kuzuyak-River Pass Akkem-Creek Orokta. Overnight in tents, cooking at the stake.

Day 3: Transition 14 km, 7-8 h by Orokta Creek Tuchman. Overnight at the source of the Tukhman river, cooking at the stake.

Day 4: Transition 20 km, 7-8 h. creek Fog Lake Kulduyra. Overnight on the lake, cooking at the stake.

Day 5: Transition 10 km, 3-4 h Lake Kulduyra-Tekelu River. Overnight on the banks of the Tekelu River, cooking at the stake. Excursion to the waterfall, a natural monument - Tekell.

Day 6: Transition 15 km, 7-8 h. Tekelu River-pass Sarybel Gorge Yarlu Mountain Shelter "Ak-Kem". Accommodation in campsites, dinner in the dining room (the economy option is in tents, independent cooking at the stake).

Day 7: A day. Radial excursion to the Jarlu Gorge. A whole city of stones is built here by people who come from all over the world to meditate at the foot of Belukha.

Day 8: Transition 15 km 6-8 h. mountain shelter "Ak-kem" - Karaturek pass ("black heart", 3060 m) - Cedar clearing. Overnight in tents, cooking at the stake.

Day 9: Transition 13 km 4-6 hours Cedar glade-Lake Kucherlinskoye (one of the most beautiful lakes of Altai). The water in the lake is called “live”, it is fish. Overnight in tents, cooking at the stake.

10 Day: Transition 21 km 7-8 h. oz.Kucherlinskoye polyana Isekeru. Overnight in tents, cooking at the stake.

11 Day: Transition 24 km 4-5 h Polyana Izekeryu-s.Tungur. On the way, visit the sites of ancient man and rocks with petroglyphs. Accommodation in tents, independent cooking on the fire.

Day 12: Departure to Barnaul.
