BatáYsk is a city (since 1938, founded in 1769) of regional subordination in the Rostov region of Russia. Population of 101.2 thousand people (2008), the territory of 77.68 km. The city is located on the Koisug River, 15 km from Rostov-on-Don and is its satellite.
