Baimak Historical and Local Lore Museum

Baymak Museum of Local History has been operating since the second of November one thousand nine hundred and eighty-first year. The team of the organization employs four employees and one researcher. The collection of the museum includes more than three thousand three hundred and twenty items, three thousand three hundred and twenty items of the collection are presented in the exposition and are included in the main funds of the museum. The museum exhibits household items of Bashkir (cattle breeding, beekeeping, hunting, agriculture), Bashkir yurt with household items, national clothing of Bashkir men and women "Zilyan", jewelry of Bashkir women ("Selter" - breast decoration), pre-revolutionary copper and silver coins. The Baimak Museum of Local History works in the form of a non-profit institution of historical specialization, that is, it does not have as the main goal of its activity the extraction of profit and does not distribute the profit received among the participants. The Baimak Museum of Local History is an organization of regional: regional or regional subordination. The museum is primarily engaged in cultural activities.
