Central Park of Culture and Rest named after Lenin in the city of Belgorod

The Central Park of Culture and Recreation in Belgorod opened in 1956. Thousands of different trees were planted here. The decoration of the center of the park was a magnificent fountain "Chorovod", a children's playground is located nearby. At the beginning of the central alley with fan palms was erected a monument of plaster V.I. Lenin.

In 2001, the park underwent extensive reconstruction. Pavement slabs were laid, an electric substation was built, an electric grid was laid, modern Russian and Italian attractions were equipped, a Children's Town and Luna Park were built, a catering network was created.

Today, the park is a place for all kinds of entertainment events, holidays, folk festivals. On the stage of Central Park periodically perform well-known creative groups, invited popular groups.
