Valu Historical and Art Museum named after Ignatiev A.I.

The building was built in 1913. There was a higher elementary school here. In 1964 it was opened as an art museum, in 2002 it became a historical and artistic museum. The artistic part of the museum collection includes works by masters of graphics, painting, sculpture. Among them are the works of Chuikov S.I., Pimenova Yu.I., Ignatiev A.I. and others. The museum also stores ethnographic objects and museum exhibits on the history of the region of the twentieth century. The museum building is an architectural monument of regional importance.
