7 Wonders of Altai

1 day. Departure from Belokurikha immediately after breakfast - 140 km on the way and we are on the spot - put on equipment: bandage, helmet, flashlight - and go to the legendary country of Chud!!! Through the labyrinths of the Museum Cave, we will advance through narrow passages overgrown with stalactites and stalagmites, go out into huge halls of bizarre forms, sculpt clay toys for the underground kingdom and listen to the melodies of the bowels of the earth. And then 6 hours passed quietly under the ground, as we again on its surface! We go to the bank of the Anui River and camp for the night. In the evening, dinner and a tourist bath.

2 days. Wake up. Breakfast. Gathering the camp and on the way - in front of waiting mountain passes, distant villages, ancient camps, vast basins and the famous Chui tract. We make stops in sacred places to get acquainted with ancient Turkic rites, dine in a cafe on the way. And, of course, you can not drive past the ancient sanctuary - the abode of petroglyphs for many millennia! After the village of Aktash, we set up camp - make an excursion to the "Live" lake, and then dinner and overnight.

3 days. Early rise. Breakfast, camp gathering and back on the road - just go on with a slight extreme - to the weather station Aktru. Excursion to the Little Actra (5 km - but it will seem more...). Camp installation. Bath. Dinner. And we can get some sleep...

4 days. With the morning rays of the sun comes “get up” and calls us somewhere, or rather to the radial exit to the Blue Lake and the Big Actor Glacier. Immediately after breakfast exit with a light snack for a walk - 10 km under the clouds ...! Upon return, eat, sleep, and get up in the morning.

5 days. This day will pass on the road - after breakfast and camp collection - go down to the Chui tract and drive towards Mongolia to Kosh-Agach, and there we go to the Jumalin keys, through the border zone. Swimming in warm springs with fish at an altitude of 2400 m above sea level!!! until the night (or at night under the stars). Dinner. Rest.

6 days. Day. Bathing. If desired, an excursion to the Warm Key Pass. Health Day. Legends by the fire...

7 days. Breakfast. Camp assembly. We go down to the Chuisky tract and back to Aktash. Lunch at the cafe. And again in the unknown we gave: through the Red Gate along the shore of the Dead Lake, we go along the Ulagan pass through the cedar forests... on the Chulyshman Highlands we will make a stop to get acquainted with ancient burials – the Tsar’s burial mounds – the era of the Scythian-Pazyryk culture. And now we have before us the Katu-Yaryk Pass – a road for the bravest – and we walk (as the bravest!), descending into the valley of the Chulyshman River along the serpentine, contemplating all the splendor of this world. We're camping by the river. Dinner and sleep...

8 days. Day. Wake up, have breakfast. There is a desire - then for an excursion - 4 km (one way) - and you are at one of the most beautiful waterfalls of Altai - Kurkure - falling from a height of more than 35 m and forming a picturesque lake with creaking clear water. The photo shoot can last until the evening not only at the waterfall, but also on the top of the mountain, where you can climb. And for lovers of fishing - you can stay in the camp or just in the evening to get gear - and get the opportunity to become a miner of delicious fish - garius. It's campfire night. Dinner. Bath.

9 days. Breakfast. Camp assembly. Departure to the mouth of Chulchi. Crossing to the right bank of Chulyshman. With a light snack, we go for a walk along the Ak-Kurum tract on Stone Mushrooms. Upon return, camp setup, dinner.

10 days. Early rise. Breakfast. Exit to Uchar Falls. 10km one way. We take dry rations with us and go. Again crossing to the right bank of Chulyshman and a narrow path upstream, along the Chulcha River, gradually rising up the mountain, we go to the goal. Rare crossings through mountain rivers and streams, waterfalls hanging with a thin thread along the way fascinate the eye. And after five kilometers, a magnificent view of our Uchar waterfall opens - the goal becomes visible, but has not yet been achieved. You can only see the upper part of the waterfall, but the closer we are, the louder it sings to us the song of water and stone, crushing its waters on huge blocks of stone and reaching the ground. By noon, the most beautiful view for the photo shoot opens, and by the evening we will be back to the camp. A little tired, but there will always be memories of this day. Fire. Dinner. Sleep. Deep sleep...

11 days. Sleep well. Breakfast. We gathered camp and on the Teletskoye Lake on the way! Swimming at the mouth of Chulyshman, fishing, rest for the whole day. Lunch and dinner. And sleep again.

12 days. Wake up and breakfast. Camp charges. By boat we go around the lake for a walk (if you wish, you can also visit the Korbu Falls). Artybash. Bia. We're camping on the shore. This is the final night in the Altai Mountains. Farewell bonfire.

13 days. Wake up. Breakfast. Camp assembly. Go to Belokurikha - 8 wonders of Altai. Sharing photos, video. Bath. Commemorative prizes at dinner. Planning for the future... Visit Altai.
