Traveling along the Chui tract, the oldest and most legendary road of the Altai Mountains, tourists discover something new every time. Before them in all its splendor reveals the nature of these wild, not yet completely explored by man places. These are crystal clear waters of mountain springs and lakes, and dense taiga, hiding the beast, and, of course, mountains. And the first, encountered on the path of the researcher and striking the imagination of the sparkling whiteness of the peaks are the snow-covered peaks of the North Chui Ridge. Leading along the Kurai steppe, the road goes past the ancient Turkic mounds to the high-mountain Aktru valley (located at an altitude of 2000 meters).
For the next three days, tourists make radial exits – to the top of the Dome of Three Lakes (3,150 meters), as well as to the Great Aktru Glacier and Blue Lake. From here, a majestic panorama of the Central Altai ridges opens (visibility up to 100-150 km in clear weather). You can clearly see the beautiful Belukha (4506 m), the mountain junction of Bish-Iirdu (4177 m) and the top of the Yuzhno-Chui ridge - Mount Iiktu (3970 m). If you are lucky, you will see Siberian Capricorns and Ulars.
In the second half of the sixth day, the group on the all-terrain vehicle returns to the base camp, where tourists can relax and steam in the bath. In the evening, they are waiting for a farewell fire, guitar songs and dedication to tourists with the presentation of souvenirs. In the morning of the seventh day, the group departs for Biysk.
