Altai Sacred

Route "Altai Sacral" venue Kosh-Agach district Republic of Altai

The route includes the most interesting places of the Kosh-Agach district - the Ukok plateau, petroglyphs of the Paleolithic era,

stone steles with solar signs, Scythian mounds and ancient sanctuaries.

The time is from July 18 to July 29. (12 days)

The number of participants is 5.

1 day - meeting of the group, moving to Biysk - Per. Achik. (2.140 m) Setting up camp on top of the ridge.

From here, a circular panorama of the Altai ridges opens, Belukha is clearly visible (in clear weather visibility up to 150 km.)

Day 2 - Breakfast, camp gathering, transfer to Dzhangyzkol Island. Overnight at the Chui Alps base.

Day 3: Breakfast, transfer to the Tytugem River, on the way to Kyzyl-Chin Gorge, "Martian landscapes" and to the top of Sukkor. Camp installation, dinner rest.

Day 4 – transfer of the river Tytugem – village Kosh-Agach – Per. The warm key is R. Kalguta.

Planned Structures - Tarhaty megalithic complex in the Chui steppe.

5 days - moving of the river Kalguta - ur. Bertek to R. Calgin. On the way we go to the ancient altar.

Day 6 – day, radial exits to the Hunnic settlement, waterfall and sanctuary. From the parking lot there is a view of the Tabyn-Bogdo-Ola mountain complex, at the top of which the borders of three states converge - Russia - Mongolia - China.

Day 7 - Relocation of R. Kaljin - Per. The warm key is Chikhacheva.

Day 8 - moving to the Kokor River, on the way we stop at ancient sacred complexes - Kerescuri, and the burial of a noble warrior with a granite stele.

Day 9 is a day, radial outlets in the gorge, where the picturesque cascades of waterfalls are located.

10 days - the transfer of the river Kokori - P. Kurai. Base accommodation, rest, dinner.

Day 11 - (spare)

12 days - moving p. Kurai - Biysk.
