Malosazan landslide-drunk forest, blue lake
Description:
The Sazan (Moskvitinsky) landslide descended from the slopes of the hilly ridge of the Amur-Zeyskaya Plain in 1987 on the right bank of Zeya between the villages of Malaya Sazanka and Moskvitino. The uniqueness of the landslide determines its size - it belongs to the category of one of the largest not only in the Far East, but also in Russia.
The first geomorphological studies of the landslide were carried out by employees of the AmurKNII (Geomorphosystems Laboratory) in the summer of 1987, 5 months after the landslide of the coastal slope of Zeya. As a result, an almost sheer wall of collapse with a height of about 70 meters was formed. Also formed relief with sand blocks 3-4 meters high.
In the sinkholes there were two bodies of water with colorful water, which the locals called the Living and the Dead: in the first - about 100 meters long, the water is greenish, in the second - several smaller sizes, the water is always black.
