Local Lore Museum of the Bureisk Municipal District

In April 1967, the Museum of Labor Glory of the Bureisky Mechanical Plant named after the 50th anniversary of the Great October was opened, the head of which was Nikolai Vasilyevich Shpakov, a veteran of the war and plant.

The museum was the center of patriotic education of children and youth of the Bureisky district. The materials collected here were widely used during meetings with participants of the Great Patriotic War. On the basis of the museum there were thematic evenings with plant workers, schoolchildren, pre-conscription youth, receptions in pioneers and Komsomol, initiations in workers, excursions for guests of the plant and the village.

In 1977, the Hall of Nature opened, where the flora and fauna of the Bureisky District are widely shown. In 1999, the exhibition hall "History of development of OJSC "Bureya-Crane" and the hall "Bureytsy during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" were opened. In 2007, a hall dedicated to the Bureyskaya HPP, “Clean Water Energy” was opened.
