Excursion to Bogolyubovo

During the tour, we will examine the remains of defensive structures of the ancient city of the XII century. We will visit the territory of the operating convent, consecrated in the name of the God-loving icon of the Mother of God. We will examine the ensemble of monastic buildings of the XVIII-XIX centuries and unique fragments of the princely residence of the XII century. We will walk along the picturesque floodplain Bogolyubovsky meadow, which is a natural monument of regional significance, to the famous church of Pokrov-on-Nerli.
