Pedestrian Bridge at Bogolyubovo Station

Bogolyubovo, Vladimir region

Description:

In the Vladimir region at the station Bogolyubovo opened an innovative high-tech pedestrian bridge across the railway tracks of the Gorky railway. The bridge made it easier for tourists to access the meadow, on which there is a masterpiece of ancient Russian architecture, an ancient shrine - the famous Pokrov-on-Nerli temple, built in the XII century.

The pedestrian bridge, more than 150 meters long, which is a gallery of tinted glass, is equipped with convenient gentle descents for pedestrians. It can be climbed on the steps, as well as with the help of two elevators located from the Bogolyubovo station and from the Bogolyubov meadow. The wide gate of each elevator allows you to enter in a wheelchair, which makes it possible to use the bridge for people with disabilities.
