We invite you to devote one day to the history of the Fatherland, the events that unfolded on August 26, 1812 on the Borodino field. The memory of the grand battle nowadays is carefully preserved in the museum-panorama "Battle of Borodino", the museum-reserve "Borodino field" and the military-historical settlement "Doronino".

We invite you to experience the events of 200 years ago by visiting these museums as part of the one-day tour “Roads of 1812”.

09:45 - gathering of the group at the entrance to the museum-panorama "Battle of Borodino" (travel - station "Victory Park").

10:00 - Excursion to the museum-panorama "Battle of Borodino". The museum exhibits battle paintings, portraits of heroes, samples of weapons, uniforms and equipment of both opposing armies. For the first time in the history of the museum, the scale and drama of the battle are accompanied by modern multimedia technologies.

The opening of the museum-panorama “Battle of Borodino” in 1912 embodied the idea of the scientific and museum community of the Russian Empire of the early XX century about the creation in Moscow, “which bore all the burden and saved Russia in the twelfth year”, a comprehensive repository of information on the Epoch of 1812. Today, the museum has more than 27 thousand items of storage. The Panorama Museum occupies a special place among the capital's museums, being an integral part of the memorial complex dedicated to the events of the Patriotic War of 1812.

Gorki – Height with a monument to the commander-in-chief of the Russian troops M.I. Kutuzov. An overview of the battlefield from the dominant height, where on the day of the battle there was a Russian artillery fortification.

Raevsky’s battery is the center of the Russian position. The main monument to the heroes of Borodin, "who laid their belly on the field of honor for the Faith, the Tsar and the Fatherland." The grave of General P.I. Bagration. On the adjacent territory there are a number of monuments to the heroes of the two Patriotic Wars.

Roubaud Height is a historical place where the artist-battalist F. A. Roubaud made the initial sketches for the panorama “Battle of Borodino”.

Shevardino - Shevardino redoubt, advanced strengthening of the Russian army. 100 meters south-east of the redoubt is a monument to the fallen Napoleonic soldiers.

Bagration flashes are the place of a bloody 3-hour battle. Inspection of fortifications and monuments to the heroes of the flash defense, a visit to the Spaso-Borodino monastery founded by M. M. Tuchkova, the widow of General A. A. Tuchkov, who died on flash drives. Visiting the expositions: "Military Gallery of the Borodino Field", "Borodino during the Great Patriotic War".

Free time (40 min): an independent visit to the cathedral of the Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God, the house-museum of the abbess Maria, a souvenir kiosk.

16:00 - Visit the military-historical settlement "Doronino". Museum of Peasant and Military Life. Military-historical reconstruction of a soldier’s bivak and the standing of a Russian officer in 1812 in a peasant hut, as a place of temporary accommodation of military units of the Russian army. Treats in the traditions of national cuisine (porridge, pies from the oven, tea from a real samovar).

18:00 – departure to Moscow.

21:00 – Arrival at the Victory Park
