The museum consists of two sectors: Evenki and Russian. In natural conditions (the museum is located 12 km from the center of Bratsk in the green zone of the city), residential and household buildings of Evenks and Russians are presented. Visitors are also interested in reconstructed plague dwellings of the indigenous population, transported and restored Russian manor complexes. The shaman plague of the Even shaman, surrounded by sculptures of spirits-helpers and the Michael-Arkhangelsk Church (1875), attracts attention. In the museum there is a monument of fundamental importance - the tower of the Bratsk prison (1654). |
