Excursion "The Noise Strictly Bryansk Forest"
For many years I have been conducting this military-patriotic excursion for tourists from various places of Russia.
And when you just say this name "the city of Bryansk", in memory immediately arise associations: Bryansk forest, Bryansk partisans. And this is not accidental, because it was here, in the Bryansk forests during the war, fierce battles with the German fascist invaders took place. And they led our courageous partisans, about whom the famous song “The noise of the harsh Bryansk forest” is composed. Remember these lines:
There is no salvation for enemies in the forests.
Soviet grenades are flying.
And the commander shouts after them:
"Blow the invaders, guys!"

The Bryansk Forest sounded harshly,
Blue fogs came down,
And the pines heard the surroundings,
How did the guerrillas win?
The Bryansk forests were one of the largest partisan areas of the Great Patriotic War: 139 detachments, more than 60 thousand fighters, were hiding in them. The district held from September 1941 until the liberation of the Bryansk region by the Red Army (Bryansk was liberated on September 17, 1943). On September 19, 1943, the first partisan parade in the USSR was held. On it, the partisans of the Bryansk forests reported on their combat activities: more than 100,000 fascist invaders and their accomplices were destroyed, 993 echelons were derailed, 120 aircraft, 193 tanks and other military equipment were destroyed, 113 departments and commandants, 25 headquarters were destroyed.
The immortal feat of the defenders of the Motherland, bravely fighting with the enemy, is dedicated to the memorial complex "Partisan glade". Partisan glade is a beautiful quiet corner of the Bryansk land!
As part of the memorial: the Wall of Memory with 8 thousand names of the dead partisans and symbolic bronze sculptures (1980s), the Eternal Flame. Here you can walk through the well-groomed territory and see with your own eyes a huge amount of military equipment, armored personnel carriers, a helicopter, an aircraft, a Katyusha complex, tanks, armored personnel carriers, a Grad combat vehicle, and much more. You will go into the real dugouts in which the partisans lived, visit the museum of partisan glory, in which there are many valuable exhibits, documents, photographs. In the updated museum you can see the famous diorama "Blue Bridge Explosion", which is dedicated to the undermining of the Bryansk partisans railway bridge, which passed to the front dozens of enemy trains a day. This operation became one of the most significant during the "rail war": the regular movement of trains was interrupted for 28 days, which significantly hampered the supply of the German army in the Bryansk direction. During a walk through the large territory of the memorial, you can always walk along the Alley of Partisan Glory and go down to the bank of the river.
