Monument to teachers

.. . Teachers went to the front with everyone. Many of them died. Sculptor Alexei Kobilinets created a kind of generalized image of the teacher. The figure leans to the ground. But she still has strength. You feel the hardness of the hand that covers the book.

In honor of the teachers who died in the Great Patriotic War, in 1981 a monument was opened in the city of Bryansk.

And the place for the monument was chosen as best as possible - near the building in which future teachers are engaged. Bryansk State Pedagogical University named after Academician I.G. Petrovsky.
