Bryansk Regional Art Museum

The museum was founded on August 1, 1968. In the collection - more than 9 thousand exhibits. About 2 thousand – works of Russian and Soviet painters of the XIX-XX centuries, icons of the XIX century. The collection of graphics includes about 5 thousand original and printed works by domestic and foreign authors of the late XIX - XX centuries.

In the collection of DPI - more than 1.6 thousand exhibits of the late XIX - XX century: folk clay toy, weaving and embroidery of masters of the Bryansk region, copper casting of the south-western regions of the region, crystal and glass works by artists of the Dyatkovo crystal plant.

The collection presents Russian and Soviet sculpture of the twentieth century (about 300 exhibits).

On September 14, 1995 a branch of the Museum of the Tkachev Brothers was opened, which stores more than 700 works by A. P. and S. P. Tkachev: paintings that have become classics of fine art of the second half of the twentieth century; works of the period of study in the outbuilding of the Bezhitsky House of Pioneers; educational productions of the academic period; series dedicated to Tyutchev places, European trips; sketches and sketches for works of different years.
