Klimov Museum of Friendship of Peoples

Klimovsky district is located in a unique place at the junction of the borders of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. The exposition of the museum presents materials about the fraternal ties of the three Slavic peoples.

In the museum you can learn about the first settlers in these parts, their crafts and rituals: from the end of the XVII century in Klimovo settled Old Believers, who left a unique collection of Old Believers books, icons, copper plastics, engravings. Clay and tin utensils, gingerbread boards, shoe tools, nomens - tell about the occupations of the first Klimov settlers. In the exposition of the museum you can see the interior of the peasant hut, household items, tools, tools. A separate corner is dedicated to folk costume and embroidery.
