Bryansk region., Navlinsky district., Rp. Navlya, Lipa Karpova per., 2

About the company:

The Navlin Museum of Partisan Glory was opened as a school museum on December 21, 1961 in one of the classrooms of Navlin Secondary School No. 1. In 1968, it was awarded the title of “People’s Museum of Partisan Glory”, and it is located in a separate building, in which it is now located. Since 1971, the museum is a branch of the Bryansk State Museum of Local History.

The exposition presents sections:

  • "The life of the peasants of the Navlinsky Territory in the XIX - early XX centuries";
  • “A.D. Vyaltseva – “the seagull of the Russian stage”;
  • “The family home of the Maslov nobles”;
  • “The village of Leski is the ancestral home of the writer N.S. Leskov”;
  • "K. G. Paustovsky in Revny."

The main attention in the exposition is paid to the feat of Navlin partisans and underground fighters during the Great Patriotic War. Among the exhibits are combat reports, acts of sabotage, intelligence reports, maps of deployment and combat operations, front-line and partisan letters, memories of former partisans and underground fighters. Especially impressive is the Navlin underground, whose history is in many ways similar to the Krasnodon one. About this heroic page in the history of the Navlin region tell photos, letters, documents, personal belongings and weapons of partisans and underground.

A separate section of the exposition is dedicated to the famous countrywoman, “the seagull of Russian pop” Anastasia Dmitrievna Vyaltseva (1871-1913). Here you can not only see the personal belongings of the singer, but also hear recordings of her inimitable voice.
