Museum of International Underground in P. Seshcha
Bryansk region, Dubrovsky district, p. Seshcha, str. Central, 5
About the company:
The museum is the only one in the world dedicated to the international underground. The Seschin international underground is a heroic page in the struggle against the German fascist invaders in the Dubrovsky land. The very word Seshcha became a symbol of the fighting commonwealth, a symbol of the struggle of fraternal peoples against fascism. The exposition of the museum introduces the activities of the Soviet-Polish-Czech underground group headed by Konstantin Povarov and Anna Morozova, whose members became prototypes of Ovid Gorchakov’s book “Calling Fire on Ourselves” and the film of the same name by S. Kolosov.
Also in one of the halls of the museum there is an exhibition dedicated to the Patriotic War of 1812, since the advance of French troops was stopped near Seschya.
