Historical and Archaeological Museum in Yudinovo village

Bryansk region., Pogarsky district., S. Yudinovo, str. Waterfront, 1

About the company:

Six exposition halls of the museum tell about the history of the region from antiquity to the present. The most representative department is archaeology, which acquaints with the finds of eight archaeological monuments of the village. The age of the most ancient exhibits is 120 thousand years.

The ethnographic exposition is represented by the typical interior of a peasant hut for this area, where firewood is burning in the oven, the stingy light of a kerosene lamp illuminates the room, the walkers are measuredly ticking on the wall ... About the occupations and everyday life of rural residents, the collections of the section “Bread and Crafts” are told.

A special atmosphere is filled with the exposition of the military hall dedicated to the villagers who defended the freedom of the Motherland. Open her materials telling about the Hero of the Soviet Union artilleryman A.F. Khaletsk.

The main theme of the post-war hall is a story about famous fellow villagers, their achievements. The acquaintance with the history of the region is completed by the exhibition of yesterday’s technology – the techniques of the twentieth century.
