Central Park in the city of Cheboksary

Republic Square (formerly Lenin Square) is an area in the central part of the city of Cheboksary of the Chuvash Republic, in the Lenin administrative district. The square overlooks the buildings: Chuvash State Agricultural Academy, I.Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University, the building of the Chuvashia Government House and the city administration of Cheboksary. In the center of the square is a monument to V.I. Lenin. The decoration of the square is the Church of the Nativity of Christ, built in 2000 on the site of an old fountain.
