cheboksary, Lenin Avenue, 46 And

Description:

One of the main attractions of Cheboksar is the Museum complex named after V. I. Chapaev, which includes the museum building, a memorial wall with bas-reliefs, as well as a beautiful square. In the latter planted about 150 trees of various breeds, the most common of which are: birch, linden, willow, ash, silver and blue spruce, as well as maple and Canadian poplar. Also planted here are various decorative shrubs - fragrant jasmine, shiny, lilac, thorn and snowberry. This place is perfect for a quiet pastime in the family circle. Here you can relax on cozy equipped benches located on asphalt alleys. In the summer in Chapaev Square you can admire neat well-groomed flower beds and fountains.

In May 1974, the V.I. Chapaev Memorial Museum was founded on the territory of the square. In 1986, near the one-storey building of the museum, a rural house of the Chapaev family was installed, and a magnificent wall with bas-reliefs was built. Every year this place attracts thousands of tourists who are fans of the great commander.
