Description:
The Volga Cossack Army in the Chuvash Republic is developing, and a monument to Chapaev is installed in the city center. The authors are sculptures by P. Balandin, architect V. Morozov. The opening date is June 23, 1960. Before the restoration in 1984, the figure of the Civil War hero on a hovered horse was concrete, then cast in bronze.
