M. Sespel Memorial Complex

The memorial complex of M. Sespel receives visitors from the sixteenth of November one thousand nine hundred and seventy-four. Two employees and one researcher are working on the preservation and development of the museum collection. The collection of the museum includes more than six hundred and five items, two hundred and three items of the collection are presented in the exposition and are included in the main funds of the museum. The memorial complex "Homeland of M. Sespel" includes the house where the poet, park, club was born. There is a bust of M. Sespel in the park. The materials of the museum tell about the periods of formation of the poet, reveal his literary and labor activity. The main goal is to reveal the stages of the formation of the poet’s personality, to show the origins of his poetic inspiration. According to the exhibits, you can learn about the peculiarities of life of the Chuvash village of the turn of the XIX - XX centuries, the Memorial Complex of M. Sespel works in the form of a non-profit institution of historical specialization, that is, it does not have as the main goal of its activity the extraction of profit and does not distribute the profit between the participants.
