Three-day tour of the three Volga republics: Chuvashia, Mari El and Tatarstan

We invite you to take part in our new project - a three-day tour of the three Volga republics: Chuvashia, Mari El and Tatarstan. We will go on a trip to these non-tourist and unpopular regions, which, in fact, contain a huge number of interesting locations, cultural sites and other amazing places. By creating this tour, we have kept the balance of excursion and entertainment programs. You will not be overwhelmed by many boring excursions, but experienced guides and colorful local guides will give you a complete idea of these regions. And also in our journey we will have plenty of fun, ride on snowy cheesecakes, and even add a note of extreme and arrange a real snowmobile trip on the ice of the frozen Volga. We paid special attention to food in this tour, we will eat in colorful restaurants with local cuisine. Mari Switzerland, the city - the island of Sviyazhsk, the mysterious park of wooden sculptures Suvar and many other unique places are looking forward to you! Detailed program and timing of the tour:

Day one. chuvashia

• At 09:10 we arrive at the Cheboksary railway station (Train 054g Chuvashia) and go to breakfast in one cafe in the center of Cheboksary not far from the station.
• At 10:30 a good breakfast, we sit down in our comfortable transfer and go to the ecological complex Chuvash Kerem, where we will get acquainted with the Chuvash culture.
• At 13:00, after a walk through the ethno-complex, we move to the amazing landscape park Suvar, filled with mysterious wooden ritual sculptures.
• At 16:00 we go for lunch in the restaurant Ehrem Khusa in the historical part of the city, where we can enjoy the unique Chuvash cuisine.
• At 17:00 we will visit the beer museum in Cheboksary, where we will even try the national foam drinks.
• At 18:00 after the museum, we will walk along the Cheboxars, and visit the famous city embankment, and enjoy the beauty of the Volga River.
• At 19:00 we leave Cheboksar and go to Yoshkar-Ola, where we will have a delicious dinner and check in at the hotel.

Day two. Mari El.

• 08:00 breakfast in the hotel and go on a tour of the city
• 9:30 we begin our walk, of course, with his business card Yoshkar-Ola - Bruges embankment. Cozy "gingerbread" houses, as if from a fairy tale, are located on the bank of the river. We will see the monument to Yoshkin cat and a unique clock - chimes.
• 11:10 a.m. we will go to a place called "Switzerland of Mary". On the hills of the Volga-Vyatka Uval there is a village of Vizimbir, surrounded by rivers and lakes. This is rightfully one of the most beautiful corners of Russia, striking a variety of natural landscapes.
• 13:10-17:30 immerse yourself in the special atmosphere of Mari, because the villagers prefer to speak their native language. We will go on a small hike to the Stone Mountain tract (one way 3 km) with a local resident of the village. We will learn the customs and rites that have been carefully preserved in this outback and are transmitted from generation to generation. We pass by the sacred grove and climb to the spring, whose water is rich in silver ions. Our gaze will open an incredibly picturesque view of gentle mountains covered with emerald forests, fields and rivers stretching to the horizon.
• 16:30 After a walk, we will have lunch, which was prepared according to ancient recipes of Mari cuisine in a real oven!
• 17:30 get on the transfer and move to Kazan
• 20:40 upon arrival, we go to dinner in one of the best restaurants in the city with modern national cuisine. You are waiting for very unusual and exquisite dishes that will conquer the heart and stomach of any gourmet.
• 22:00 check in at the hotel and rest after a busy day

Day three. Tatarstan

• 08:00 We meet in the lobby of our hotel and go to breakfast.
• 09:00 Sit down on the transfer and go to the island city of Sviyazhsk, which was founded in the XVI century by order of Ivan the Terrible before the capture of the Kazan Khanate
• 10:30 Walk with a guide around Sviyazhsk (UNESCO object), learn the history and enjoy the atmosphere and view of the ancient city
• 12:00 Having plunged into Russian history and having taken a lot of walks, we go for a note of extreme sports to the snowmobile club
• 13:30 We listen carefully to the briefing, prepare for a snowmobile walk and ... go on snowmobiles on the ice of the frozen Volga River. From the ice of the Volga, we will see the Temple of all religions from an unusual angle and the abandoned Volga water intake, this is a landmark that, although abandoned, but the locals cherish it very much and keep it on their own. After the trip, we warm up a little and drink tea with delicious things.
• 16:00 After a busy morning program, we arrive for lunch in a very colorful and unusual place. Here we will try the national Tatar fast food!
• 17:00 After a tight lunch, we go on a walking tour of the evening Kazan
• 18:30 The tour ends. The train to Moscow is only an hour and a half away. You will have free time to buy souvenirs, walk around Kazan and many other pleasant things.
• 19:45 Meet on the platform of the railway station of Kazan, where we say goodbye and at 20:00 go home.
