Chegem Falls
Description:
Chegem waterfalls are the pearl of Kabardino-Balkaria. The word Chegem literally means “the earth is broken.” Indeed, a narrow canyon with steep cliffs - one of the main natural decorations of Kabardino-Balkaria - looks like a gap opening into the ground. Rocky cliffs and a continuous hum of water form a special charm of the valley. But its main attraction are considered waterfalls, beating with great force directly from steep cliffs.
