Park - Central, culture and recreation named after Yu. Gagarin

It was founded in 1936 in the forest park zone of Chelyabinsk. It occupies the northeastern part of the urban boron. The park is a favorite place for recreation of citizens, enjoys special attention of city guests, is an excellent place for walking, playing sports and spending free time in the fresh air. It hosts city-wide holidays and sports competitions, concerts, lectures, talks, chess and checkers tournaments, regional festivals of folk art. The Central Park of Culture and Recreation named after Yu.A. Gagarin has the status of a specially protected natural area of local importance - a monument of landscape architecture. Features: - Location: Central district of the city of Chelyabinsk, the north-eastern part of the Chelyabinsk (City) boron; - In close proximity to the park are: zoo, stadium "Central", ice palace and the largest university of the SUSU region; - Gorsad named after A.S.
