From Turgoyak Mirror to Taganaya Ridges

We meet in Chelyabinsk and start by car or minivan in the direction of Oz. Turgoyak (travel time is about 2 hours). Along the way, we can stop at the natural-scientific museum of the Ilmensky Reserve, where one of the largest mineral collections in Russia is located.

Lake Turgoyak itself is one of the cleanest and most beautiful lakes in Russia, surrounded by mountains and coniferous forests, famous for its water transparency.

We will walk along the coast, visit the observation decks where you can take beautiful photos, drink coffee in a cafe with panoramic windows. We will see a small forest lake Inyshko, at the bottom of which, according to legend, hid a treasure - a couple of barrels with gold - Emelyan Pugachev. In the warm season, you can swim in Lake Turgoyak and visit the mysterious island of Vera on a yacht - an archaeological monument with ancient megaliths and traces of the Old Believers.

Then move to the city of Chrysostom - an ancient city known for its history of metallurgy, weapons and unique engraving on steel. At the entrance to the city, we will stop near the sign Europe - Asia. We will walk along the ecotrail to the observation decks - rocky remains, from where a wonderful view of the surrounding mountain ranges and the city itself opens (the route is about 2 km). In the city itself, we will visit the historical steel engraving factory and its museum, learn the history of the Russian bulat and the coat of arms of Chrysostom - a winged horse. We will have lunch in the restaurant of Ural cuisine "Happy Kuzyuk".

The active day will end with a walk to another mountain peak - Black Rock (the route length is about 1.5 km), which offers views of the valley of the Taganai National Park with its endless forests and mountain ranges. This is the perfect place for memorable photos!
