Arkaim Reserve
Russia, Chelyabinsk region. From the Chelyabinsk Bus Station (South) there are buses to Arkaim.
Description:
Arkaim is a mysterious ancient city located in the Chelyabinsk region. It was discovered in 1987 at the border between Europe and Asia. "Arkaim" in translation from Turkic means "back, back, base". Presumably, this is a city – a temple, the view of which from above resembles a spiral. Scientists have proved the following fact that Arkaim is the birthplace of the ancient Aryans, which for many centuries was sought by archaeologists from the Danube to the Irtysh.
The discovery of Arkaim proved the importance of the region from Central Asia to the Mediterranean. During the excavations of the ancient settlement, almost no works of ancient jewelry or painting, ancient inscriptions were found. The main thing in the reserve is the integral construction of the structure, which occupies almost twenty thousand square meters, unusual in its structure and location. Scientists also see the coincidence of some important parameters of Arkaim with similar parameters of Stonehenge in England.
Currently, Arkaim is a museum under the sky, pilgrims and tourists come here.
