Lake Kum - Kul

Chelyabinsk region, Argayash district

Description:

Kum-kul is a sandy lake 50 km from Chelyabinsk. An excellent place for swimming, unfortunately, recently inaccessible for free holidays due to the active purchase of territory for private property.

Kum Kul and its surroundings are a wonderful place to relax from city life. Every summer vacationers come here to swim in a clean pond, walk along the birch grove and sunbathe on the sandy shore. The lake attracts fishermen with an abundance of fish, such as perch, pelyad, carp, pike is especially lucky. Around the whole Kum-kul there are many recreation centers with a variety of services.

It is possible to come on your own with a tent or just get out into nature for one day, but it is worth considering that free approaches remained only from the left bank. A uniform deepening does not pose a danger to bathing children, so Kum-kul is perfect for resting with the whole family.
