Children's museum
Vologda region, Cherepovets, pr-ct. Lunacharski, 39
About the company:
Acquaintance with this unusual museum will be interesting not only for children, but also for adults: here you can make a trip to the childhood of different generations - from antiquity to the end of the XX century. Curious are ancient clay, wooden, patchwork toys, dolls, books and Christmas decorations. With special warmth, visitors remember things of the Soviet era, many of which used to be in every house.
The museum has a collection of drawings by the famous artist Elizabeth Böhm. In childhood, she spent a long time in the Bratkovo estate near Cherepovets. In the meadow floor of the museum, an exposition “Only a little, or the Mysteries of the Museum Belfloor”, thematically related to her work, was created. Here are reflected the favorite subjects of the artist – children’s world, village life, “close and cute” to her.
Children's Museum is one of the most visited in Cherepovets. Every day, several dozen young visitors come here to classes as part of the Museum for Children program. Museum lessons differ from the usual excursion, they are necessarily informational and practical in nature. Children become active participants in the educational process: they solve riddles, read poems, sculpt from clay and salt dough, master painting, watch puppet plays.
The museum has been working with children with disabilities for more than 15 years. Here they know how to make a visit to the museum comfortable and interesting for visitors with hearing, vision, mental disorders.
