About the company:
The only memorial house-museum of the Vereshchagin family in the world. In this house in the XIX century in the family of the leader of the county nobility were born Nikolai Vereshchagin, the founder of the dairy industry in the country, and Vasily Vereshchagin, the famous Russian artist.
The house, once owned by the Vereshchagin family, has experienced many tests. In the 1850s, it was sold to a local merchant who rented part of the second floor to guests. In the 50-60-ies of the XX century there were communal apartments, and only in 1984 the building was transferred to the museum.
The atmosphere of the memorial house is carefully recreated according to the memoirs of Vasily Vereshchagin. On the territory of the museum are preserved: a pharmacy garden and a carriage shed.

Здравствуйте. 27 декабря 2022г посетили в Череповце Дом-музей Верещагиных. Нашим экскурсоводом была Маликова Любовь Хазаросовна. Мы в восторге от этого человека! Она настолько живая и эмоционально красочно преподносит материал, слушали ее, не отрываясь и завороженно! Глубокие академические познания материала, тонкости и детали событий, сопровождение цитатами и стихами, дополнение смежной справочной информацией, соотношение и сравнение с современностью. Оказаться на экскурсии у такого гида - одно наслаждение! Спасибо большое! Сам музей, конечно, тоже приводит в восторг, экспозиции, картины, фотографии и зарисовки. Рекомендуем к посещению обязательно!
