Perfectly took root once imported, in 1924, in Lake Kenon perch, and recently there was another new species for the area - white Cupid.

Environmentalists and Chitin residents, however, are alarmed by the situation with the purity of Lake Kenon due to the functioning of a local CHPP on its shore. Because of this, the water level in the reservoir sharply decreases and its temperature regime changes. Today, active work is underway to resolve the brewing crisis situation, in particular, hopes are pinned on the construction of the Ingoda reservoir.
