Republic of Buryatia, Russia 56 km Z

Description:

Pine lake is located on the square of the Eravninsky district in the Republic of Buryatia. Included in the Eravno-Khorgin lake system. It is about 6.5 kilometers long and about 4.3 kilometers wide. The area of the mirror surface of the lake is 24.5 square kilometers.

On the north side it is connected by a small strait with Lake Big Eravnoye. The pond is rich in fish.

There is a legend about the birth of the lake - a stone fell to the ground and during the fall split into three large blocks, 33 stones and many small stones. When the boulders fell, heavy rain began and water filled the notches from the fallen stones. Thus, the lakes Sosnovoe, Large Erawnoe, Small Erawnoe and others appeared. According to the same legend, three huge pines grew on the shore of the lake, which later gave the name of the lake.
