We invite you to the aul-ghost of Gamsutl - one of the most famous sights of Dagestan. This amazing and atmospheric place has several names - "Dead City" and Dagestan "Machu Picchu".
Our first stop is the small hydroelectric power plants of Dagestan Gunibskaya and Gergebilskaya HPPs located on the Karakoisu River. On the territory of the Gunibsk HPP named after Rasul Gamzatov is the historical and architectural complex of Andal (Andalalal). This is a traditional mountain battle tower, which you can climb and explore the surrounding area.
High in the mountains is an aul ghost. It is a mountain village with a 2,000-year history. Around the impregnable mountains and the only narrow path to the village itself. There is an opportunity to drive part of the way in local cars (UAZ), and then there is a climb that will need to be overcome on foot. Every corner of the village offers an unforgettable view of the surroundings.
On the way there will be no less interesting stop - Chokh terraces. The beautiful landscape of the mountain slopes of Chokha impresses with its beauty and harmony with the surrounding nature. Here you can see the unusual green terraces. This unique architectural complex is one of the most significant cultural monuments in Dagestan.
Saltinian cliff. The winding gorge is an active natural monument of our region. Sometimes you can see a waterfall bursting from above through a hole in a solid rock during the melting of snow and maximum precipitation. But the rest of the time, the bizarre Saltinian dungeons themselves make a strong impression. This is one of the most unusual and beautiful places in Dagestan.
