Dimitrovgrad Local History Museum

In the historical part of the city there is a building similar to a fabulous tower. Its architecture is solved in the Russian style. The museum has been housed in this historic building since 1978.

The most attractive exposition of the museum, which does not leave anyone indifferent, is devoted to nature. Here you can see wolves, grouse, as well as a red fox that hunts a rabbit.

In each department of the museum there are iconic exhibits, whether it is a Savromat bowl of the VI-V centuries BC, a wooden soha and a stove in the department "Peasant Life" or a TV KVN of the 60s of the last century with a water lens in front of the screen.

The museum has rich collections of paintings, holds exhibitions of paintings.

Today it is the only museum in the city. Interactive programs, master classes, cycles of events, international conferences, history lessons, family New Year performances have become an integral part of the cultural and scientific life of the city.
