The founder of the monastery, St. Seraphim of Sarov, said: “Happy is everyone who stays with Poor Seraphim in Diveevo... for the Mother of God visits Diveevo every day...” Whoever passes this groove and “The Mother of God...” will read with attention a hundred and fifty times, “...then here is Athos, and Kiev, and Iberia...” On the territory of the village of Diveev there are healing holy springs: a source in honor of the Kazan Mother of God, during the clearing of which the miraculous Kazan Icon of the Mother of God was found, the source of St. Panteleimon, the source in honor of the Iverian Icon of the Mother of God, the source of Mother Alexandra - the first abbess of the monastery. Also here are the relics of Seraphim of Sarov.
