Chuchkhur Falls, Russian Polyana - Dombai-Ulgen Gorge

This route consists of two parts: to the Russian glade - a short easy way for those who are lazy to go far, and to Chuchkhur waterfall. On the Russian glade excellent view of the mountains, you can go down to the river.

Chuchhur waterfall is located in the depths of the gorge almost at the foot of the highest mountain in the area - Dombai-Ulgen (4047 m). It consists of three cascades. The way to it is simple, without climbing a mountain, 6 km in one direction. There's an option for an extra. a fee to go deep into the gorge and then walk a little further. The route is very picturesque - around vegetation, higher than human height, snowy mountains. The aroma of grass comes from all sides. To the waterfall itself you need to climb, to the third cascade even higher along the path. In May there is still snow, you will have to overcome the snow, but this is not a problem, the view is worth it.
