Amanauz Gorge - Canyon "Devil's Mill", Sufrujin Waterfall

Description:

The terrible gorge of Amanauz has such a name for no reason. Amanauz in translation means "evil mouth, evil gorge" - in this gorge avalanches and stonefalls are frequent, and a river with character ...

The route is entirely on foot. You can walk 2 km to the canyon "Devil's Mill". In a deep canyon, the water is spinning wildly. The view down is breathtaking. The guide will tell the legends about the name of the canyon.

And who is not tired, you can walk a couple of kilometers to the huge powerful 60-meter Sufrudzhinsky waterfall. The waterfall begins with the glacier of the same name.

On the way you will need to overcome the snow. Closer to the waterfall grow raspberries. The whole way pleases the eye subalpine vegetation. Without reaching the main waterfall, there are small waterfalls flowing from a high cliff. They're beautiful on their own, too.

It's a simple, exciting route.
