My name is Yana. I worked for many years as a manager in a travel agency and personally compiled tour programs in Yekaterinburg and the entire Urals, so I know firsthand what guests of our city love. That is why I do not load tourists with dates and names of important persons of the city, I show the importance and contribution of the Urals throughout the country and the world.

Learn about the Romanov family and visit 1 of 3 Temples on the Blood in Russia and the Ganina Yama Monastery. You will learn the history of the mafia of the 90s in Yekaterinburg and most importantly, you will learn why Yekaterinburg is among the ideal cities in the world according to UNESCO!

! I used to work as a travel consultant for a long time, that's why I'm well aware of the highlights of the city is famous for. However, as a passionate traveler I do realize that it's not only about visiting museums, but more about city's spirit. Ekaterinburg has got a very unique atmosphere, that's why I want to show it to you. Historical background is very important, but I'm not the one who would overload you with dates and names, my experience is more like a story about city's past and it's reflection in present.
I'll show you historical city center, the Dam, Square 1905, famous Church on the Blood, Square of the Soviet Army, but also you'll see the corners of the city which tourists usually miss out because they are not indicated in travel books. Although I think they are important places to have a full picture about the city. We'll visit small wooden Chapel in Holly Quarter and will get acquainted with old babushka (nun) We'll visit the only one Museum in Russia to the first Russian President and you will know what is "perestroika" * We'll visit monastery Gania's Yama and we'll know the history of last Russian Emperor Romanov.
