Journey to the village of Chudova
Description:
The trip is designed for a small group (3 people). We're driving a comfortable car.
The ultimate goal is a private museum that hides in the village of Chudova, lost among the forests and far from civilization. But this is not just a trip to the museum, but a deep dive into the pre-Petrine history of the Urals! The guide will tell about the campaign of Ermak, the foundation of the Beloyarsk Sloboda, the history of the Siberian tract.
Do you think the countdown of our Ural history began in 1723? No way! We will see the places where the pioneers set foot in 1612!
Route:
9:00 Departure from Yekaterinburg (KOSK "Russia")
Next: Stop in the village of Small Brusyan. Visit to the church of Elijah the Prophet (the main shrine is the shoe of Spiridonius of Trimifunt). Here we buy delicious cheeses in the shop "Sobolev cheese" (optional).
Stop in the village of Mezenskoye. The village is 110 years older than Yekaterinburg! We will drive along the very first street of the village, stop at houses older than 120 years. We will visit St. Nicholas Church with its shrines (Taby Icon of the Mother of God).
Stop in the village of Beloyarskoe. The village also appeared in the XVII century. We will visit the site of the foundation of the Beloyarsk settlement. If desired, you can visit the Assumption Temple.
You may have wondered where the border between the Urals and Siberia lies. Here it is - not far from Beloyarsky! Nicholas the Wonderworker invites travelers from Siberia to the Urals. Protected places, minimum civilization.
From here you can reach the museum complex "Wonderful Origins of Siberia". At the entrance, guests are greeted by a whole collection of old millstones, a milepost, a sign of the edge (a sign marking the boundaries of the factory forest cottage). And on the territory of the museum, everyone will find exhibits interesting to him: from an old horseshoe of Peter’s times, a Vogul boat and a collection of ancient wagons to a real Czechoslovak aircraft. Here and the piano, which played Tchaikovsky, and the car, which brought down the American pilot Powers. The museum has more than 100 thematic collections (life, technology, minerals, history of the region, icons, etc.) and about 200 permanent exhibitions. Do you want to remember how you sat at the school desk as a child? Please! Do you want a collection of caskets or cribs? Please! We're planning two hours to see all the curiosities!
On the way back, we will have lunch to choose from in one of the cafes with a home kitchen. As well as local legends, stories about the murdered princess and the missing emerald.
