Natural Park "Deer streams" in the city of Yekaterinburg

Nizhneserginsky district, p. Bazhukovo.

Description:

The park was opened in October 1999 to protect the nature and historical and cultural heritage of this land. The reserve covers an area of 127 square kilometers, and if you walk through the park from north to south, you can overcome all the way in two days, and if you go across, you need only half a day.

"Deer streams" were created on a voluntary basis by a group of students of the Ural State University. They organized a squad that surveyed the lands of the future park, laid hiking trails, built shelters. Here were found traces of the sites of ancient people, which are marked with the so-called red deer sign. Hence the name of the park.

Here are a variety of birds and animals, beautiful and natural landscape and successive landscapes: taiga and forest-steppe. In the park live moose, boars, deer, hamsters, beavers and other mammals.
